Casa Guadalupana (Casa) is a large, comfortably furnished, welcoming shelter with six bedrooms, lovely communal spaces, a large kitchen and laundry. It’s located in the West Side neighborhood of St. Paul.

What we offer

Casa provides safe, dignified, stable shelter to women and families who have been forcibly displaced from their countries of origin and are seeking a safe place to live while they navigate the complex immigration system.

Our partners

Residents are referred to Casa by the International Institute of Minnesota, a local nonprofit organization which provides support services tailored to individual needs, including case management, educational opportunities, employment counseling, and connection to medical providers. (

Staff on site

Casa will have an individual available during the nighttime hours in the event of an emergency and to help with any issues associated with persons new to each other living in the same house.

We’ll soon be assessing needs and meaningful opportunities for involvement. If you would like information as it becomes available, please contact us at
